Australian Made Roof Top Tents are hard to come by.
Here's how we manufacture our tents. (Part 3 of 5)
Are Hannibal Safari roof top tents made in Australia?
Yep, they sure are! Our canvas fold out tents are made to the highest specification.
That’s why we get to proudly share this little logo.
How we make a HannibalRoof Top Tent Part 3 of 5
Our Hannibal Safari roof top tents use canvas from WCT (Wax Converter Textiles). WCT are located in Rutherford in the Hunter Valley just outside of Newcastle. They are known for their canvas and oil skin fabrics for the camping industry, industrial fabrics as well as fabrics for defence which are second to no other and exported to over 15 countries.
It's a fact that you could say with confidence that WCT canvas is about longevity, performance and it can survive whatever the elements can dish out.

As stated in the last post our canvas is now sewn in Australia. Walls for annexes are made to the correct length and special options for doors and windows can be supplied when required.
Here's a video from WCT on the process of the canvas being made at the Rutherford factory in the Hunter Valley.
In part 4 of the Hannibal tent manufacturing, we're going to look at where the canvas comes from.
